Cookie notice
Ameen sets only what it needs to keep you signed in. There are no advertising, analytics, or profiling cookies, and no third-party trackers.
The cookies we set
- ameen_session keeps you signed in to your workspace, and expires after 30 days.
- ameen_platform_session signs in platform administrators only, and expires after 12 hours.
- ameen_two_factor_challenge exists only while you are entering a two-factor code, and expires after 5 minutes.
All three are strictly necessary: without them you cannot stay signed in. They are marked Secure, so browsers send them only over HTTPS, and they cannot be read by JavaScript.
The banner
When you acknowledge the cookie banner we record that in your browser's local storage under ameen_cookie_consent. That is not a cookie, it is never sent to our server, and it does nothing except stop the banner reappearing in that browser.
Managing them
You can clear cookies in your browser at any time, which signs you out. Because everything listed here is strictly necessary for signing in, there is nothing to opt out of without also losing access to the workspace.
